I am a nature photographer, plant wonk, animal lover, activist, hiker, and explorer. I love cats and butterflies and mountains.  I am a seeker of beauty and meaning in this sometimes onerous existence. By sharing with you my photos of mountain windflowers, nectaring butterflies, and the exceptionally diverse flora and fauna of the Southeast and beyond, not only do I seek to treat your eyes but to stir your soul, and perhaps, lead you to take action. A wise man once told me, “Education without action is just entertainment.”
